Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 2025

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a hyperlink that contains a unique tracking code. When you click an affiliate link on FoxVerdict and subsequently make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the vendor or retailer. This commission is paid by the vendor — not by you. The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or navigate directly to the vendor’s website.

How we use affiliate links

FoxVerdict uses affiliate links on review pages where a “View Product” or similar call-to-action button is displayed. These links may direct you to the vendor’s website, an authorised reseller, or a third-party marketplace.

Affiliate links are marked with the HTML attribute rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" as required by UK advertising standards guidance and Google’s webmaster guidelines. Where a review page contains an affiliate link, this is disclosed clearly at the foot of that page.

Do affiliate commissions influence our reviews?

No. Editorial decisions — including scores, recommendations, and the content of reviews — are made solely by our editorial team without input from vendors, advertisers, or affiliate partners.

We review products with and without affiliate arrangements. The existence or absence of an affiliate programme has no bearing on whether we review a product, how we score it, or whether we recommend it. Products that we do not recommend are not promoted with affiliate links.

Regulatory compliance

FoxVerdict complies with the requirements of the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on endorsements and reviews, and the requirements of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). Affiliate relationships are disclosed in accordance with these requirements.

If you believe we have failed to disclose a material commercial relationship, please contact us.
